So there are so many options out there to choose from when it comes to who to use to distribute your newsletters.
How do you know which one to go for and which one is right for you?
In this video I discuss which factors you need to consider FIRST before making your decision
So there are so many options out there to choose from. How do you know which one to go for and which one is right for you? I guess there are two main factors here that you should consider and the first one is features. What do they offer you that is going to suit your needs and your marketing needs? The second thing to think about is price point. What can you afford? What is going to work for you?
The four main email marketing platforms that– probably the main ones to consider and the first one is Mailchimp. Now, Mailchimp is free for the first 2,000 subscribers which is absolutely fantastic, but there is a catch. The free subscription doesn’t allow you to be able to use all of the resources. Perhaps that’s something that you may need to factor in. The second one which is one that I love and I personally use and that’s AWeber. AWeber I think currently is $10 per month– very, very affordable. The next one is Constant Contact which I haven’t really have a lot to do with but I hear it’s also a very good price point. I’m not 100% sure and the fourth one, the big Kahuna, the mothership of all email marketing platforms is Infusionsoft.
Now, if you’re going to be using Infusionsoft, I would highly recommend that you perhaps start out on your email marketing using something like AWeber and then as you list grows then move over to Infusionsoft because it is not cheap. I think the privilege just to be able to have it is about $1,500. That does give you 4 hours of training one on one with an Infusionsoft expert and I’m here to tell you you’re going to need it. I’ve been using Infusionsoft for some customers for quite a number of years. It is also known as “confusion soft”. It is not the easiest but once you get the hang of it, it is an absolutely fantastic platform. It will quite simply automate all of your marketing campaigns. It is not just an email platform. It is marketing campaigns. It is diary management. It is your customer database. It is everything rolled into one. There are various platforms. I think the cheapest one is $300 a month USD from memory. So, to move on to Infusionsoft is not cheap but it is worth it.
There are your four main options. My biggest tip to you is when you’re thinking about switching over to a new platform or perhaps just starting a new email platform altogether, check out those four guys and I know that with a lot of them– you know they’ll have a 30-day free trial offer. Get on them. Try it out before you start uploading all of your contact etcetera and just see which one is the most user-friendly and works best for you.
